Sachin Tendulkar, MP: Boost for Indian sport?

Sachin Tendulkar today became the first serving sports person to become a Member of Parliament. The government had nominated him to the Upper House in Rajya Sabha. Soon after taking oath, Sachin said he would work to improve all sports, not just cricket.
