#GLAadventure team reaches Cooper Pedy which is known for two things - Opal and Underground Homes. Here most of the houses are underground including the hotel. These homes are called "dugouts" and the houses are fashioned in such a way due to scorching temperature during day time. This underground town was established in 1915 following the discovery of opal there. It's interesting to know that ninety five per cent of the world's opal comes from this area.
