The world is losing about 100 species every day, in the last century four animal species from India became extinct. Even as nations fail to commit adequate financial resources to protect biodiversity, Indian scientists have been steadily developing robust techniques, collecting DNA and tissue samples of endangered animals and freezing them in tissue bank. This cold Bank of Life could then become the only source for cloning animals if they ever become extinct from the wild. NDTV visits this unique frozen zoo in Hyderabad.
