Saurabh Govil, senior VP - human resources, IT business at Wipro, says it was a good quarter for the company in terms of lower attrition rate. He adds that the company is also hiring aggressively. It hired 5,240 new people in Q2, taking its total headcount to 1,31,730 employees as of September 30, 2011.
