South Korea's Posco seems to be moving one more step ahead in its effort to set up a steel plant in Orissa. It is because another expert panel of the environment ministry has given the go ahead for the project with an initial capacity of four million tonnes and a total capacity of 12 million tonnes but with conditions like Posco will have to earmark five per cent of its total investment for corporate social responsibility.
