In an exclusive interview with NDTV, Vikram Akula, the founder of SKS Microfinance, the biggest such lender in India, says his firm has no intentions of moving out of Andhra, and he never said he would. Andhra Pradesh had clamped down on rampant lending by microfinance firms by passing an ordinance in December that lays down tougher guidelines for those who lend to the rural poor.
