Ashwin Patil, equity analyst at LKP securities, told NDTV that lower realisation, higher tax expenses and lower-than-estimated other income has led to lower-than-estimated profit for Maruti Suzuki in the third quarter. Higher festive discounts might have impacted the realisations for Maruti, he added.
