Sharan Lillaney, research analyst for aviation at Angel Broking, thinks that Etihad would have to pay a significant premium to the current market price to be able to acquire a stake in Jet Airways. He thinks that the deal will lead to re-rating of the whole sector, with investors then focusing on other companies like SpiceJet.
