Dipan Mehta, member of BSE & NSE, said that the current bout of volatility is an opportunity to buy stocks for those who have been sitting on the sidelines. Indian economy's long-term fundamentals would not be impacted by the outcome of the US elections or by the government's move to scrap big denomination notes, he added.
