Coromandel International has signed an agreement to acquire a 56.28 per cent stake in fertilizer maker Liberty Phosphate and has also made an open offer for an additional 26 per cent. A Vellayan, chairman of Coromandel International, says, the acquisition complements the company's portfolio and will be completed in 2-3 months. The deal will be funded via internal accruals, he adds.
