Coromandel will be importing about 2.77 lakh tonnes of urea from the Qatari company. It is the first company in India to have been granted direct import permission of urea for its captive consumption through public sector import agencies like MMTC, IPL and STC, said Kapil Mehan, MD of Coromandel International.
