A CRR cut of 0.75% would be effective: Pratip Chaudhuri

Pratip Chaudhuri, Chairman of State Bank of India, the country's top lender told NDTV Profit that a cut in the cash reserve ratio (CRR), the amount of funds that the banks have to keep with RBI, will be more effective. "We expect the central bank to slash CRR by 0.75 per cent or 75 basis points," he said.
