Taking Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Swachh Bharat' campaign a step further, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minsiter Chandrababu Naidu announced mission 'Swachh Andhra Pradesh', aimed at having a toilet in each household. 100 per cent confident of providing toilets to all by 2019, Mr Naidu said he will also create a corporation for the maintenance and upgradation of the toilets. He emphasised that all politicians, corporates should work together for a cleaner India. In response to a suggestion by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, Mr Naidu promised that they will build a clean, smart capital for Andhra Pradesh with dustbins, no litter. He also urged people of Andhra Pradesh to adopt a village or a ward.
