The Capital tops the list of the most polluted cities in the country once again, but that's not all. The top 6 areas with severe pollution are all from the NCR region. The causes are clear - burning crop residues in neighbouring states, heavy diesel traffic and lower temperatures which stop pollutants from rising. The Centre has instructed states to use satellite imagery to detect crop burning, and has asked them to take action immediately.
