In a shameful incident, paralysis survivor, author, poet and disability activist Salil Chaturvedi was assaulted at a cinema hall in Goa for not standing up during national anthem. "Are you allowed to hit people if they are not standing up (for national anthem), even if they are not disabled," asks Salil who has been using wheelchair since 1984. "My brother is a gallantry award winner, my dad was in the Air Force, we know what patriotism is," he said.
