The BJP does not believe in tokenism or appeasement, BJP's Uttar Pradesh chief Keshav Prasad Maurya said, and that's why the party did not field Muslim candidates just for the sake of it. "We did not have any Muslim candidates who could win," he said adding that whether there will be Muslim members in the cabinet will be decided in a parliamentary board meeting.
