Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, after being admitted for nearly three months in Chennai's Apollo Hospital, died on Monday. The 68-year-old died a day after suffering a massive cardiac arrest on Sunday. Speaking to NDTV, Apollo Vice-Chairperson Preetha Reddy said a team of doctors had worked relentlessly and that they had "tried our best to save Jayalalithaa." It was a sense of loss for the team of doctors, she adds.
