Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh was unhurt when suspected militants fired near a helipad this morning while he was boarding his chopper to leave for Imphal. The chief minister had to attend a function in Ukhrul town, around 100 km from capital Imphal, but as soon as he got off his chopper, protests erupted.
