Government's commitment to see every child in school took another leap with the opening of India's first 12-hour school in Telangana. The school, which runs from 7 am to 7 pm, is located at Balapur in old city of Hyderabad. It is a joint initiative between the government's Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, United Nations High Commission for Refugees and Save the Children foundation.
