In CCTV footage from last week, five men run down a Dhaka street, purportedly moments after killing Xulhaz Mannan, a Bangladesh gay rights activist. Within hours, in keeping with a pattern of the past year, a spokesperson for Al Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent or AQIS sent out a tweet claiming credit for the murder.
