The 12-hour Cleanathon got underway with Campaign Ambassador Amitabh Bachchan committing to 50 hours this year to clean up drives to achieve the goal of Swachh India. Reckitt Benckiser's South Asia Reginal Director, Nitish Kapoor committed to 20,000 hours on behalf of his organisation to the cause of making India clean. NDTV on its part has committed to 10,000 hours this year to the campaign.
