Season 1 of NDTV-Dettol Banega Swachh India worked on eliminating open defecation, eradicating manual scavenging, complete disposal and reuse of solid and liquid wastes, bringing behavioral changes to people and motivate health practices as well as spreading cleanliness awareness among people.
