Govind Shrikhande, MD of Shoppers Stop, told NDTV that the loss that the company posted in the fourth quarter was because of the one-time impairment provision it has made for erosion of Hypercity's net worth. But the retail company is pretty confident of a better performance in FY18 on the back of strong brand building and changes in Hypercity.
