Market analyst Shrikant Shetty advises investors to hold onto ITC stock for medium to long term. Despite the hike in VAT by many state governments, Mr Shetty feels that ITC will be able to pass on the hikes and protect its margins. Technical analyst Rakesh Bansal, however, feels that ITC is making distribution pattern on the chart and investors must use rallies to sell the stock.
