The festive season always provides a much-needed spurt in sales, but this year things are starting to look up for the auto space more rapidly and more aggressively than expected. As the shraadh period ended, dealers are reporting a good demand for new cars and bikes. Maruti is all set to cash in on this with its new Baleno – and this will also provide a fillip to its Nexa strategy. Meanwhile Tata Motors has seen its JLR portfolio enjoying a good September after 5 months of a lull. Tata also has new products like the Hexa in the pipeline.
