It's a whitewash for the BJP in Karnataka's coastal districts -- Dakshina Kannada, home to Mangalore, and Udupi. In Dakshina Kannada, the BJP lost all the eight Assembly segments to the Congress and in Udupi, it won just a single seat out of five.
