Sophos: 78 Percent of Indian Organisations Faced Ransomware Attacks in Last Year

A report by research firm Sopho reveals some alarming details about a spike in ransomware attacks among Indian firms. As per the report, more than 78 percent of Indian organisations suffered ransomware attacks last year, up from 68 percent in 2020. The average ransom paid by the Indian companies was $1,198,475.
