India, who lost to Japan Tuesday, failed to put up a fight as they lost the first two games in each of the Regus against Thailand at the Asian Games.

According to a survey, business confidence in the country has dropped from 137 points in April to 129 in September, but still well above the global average of 113 points, while globally it risen by 5 points to 109 in mature economies, and had dropped 9 points to 117 in emerging economies.

The survey conducted by workplace solutions provider Regus among more than 26,000 businesses in nearly 100 nations, including India, revealed that most of the recruitment is expected in sales and marketing segments.

Almost a third of professionals in India say they sacrifice sleep to fit in personal and work commitments by waking up early or by burning the proverbial midnight oil, a survey said.
