Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati had some tough words for Samajwadi Party. Addressing a gathering of party workers in Agra on Sunday as part of three-day Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations, Mayawati said SP should work towards fulfilling its decisions instead of reversing the decisions taken during her regime.

The national capital voted on Sunday to pick a new team for its trifurcated civic body, with more people coming out to vote this election compared to last time. 55 per cent polling was recorded till 5.30 pm, according to Chief Electoral Officer Rakesh Mehta.
