Heroin worth Rs 115 crore smuggled from Pakistan seized, one held

Directorate of Revenue Intelligence today seized 23-kg heroin, worth Rs 115 crore in the international market, from a goods train in Amritsar, that arrived from Pakistan, and arrested a person in this connection.

In the biggest seizure of drugs so far, customs officials today seized 105 kg of heroin from cement bags that arrived from Pakistan on a goods train. 500 rounds of American-make ammunition for handguns were also seized.
