Dress Code For Teachers

The Assam government on Saturday issued a notification bringing a dress code for teachers in all state-run schools in the state and has banned jeans and leggings, officials said.

Himachal Pradesh authorities have issued a directive to all teachers in government schools to avoid wearing fashionable clothes while on duty to "check incidents of sexual abuse".

Around 2.5 lakh government school teachers in Madhya Pradesh will soon have a compulsory dress code.
