Pratap Kumar and his wife Priyanka alias Elizabeth Mary were killed after their motorcycle was hit by a tipper lorry on November 20, 2009.

Over 4,700 lost lives in road accidents in TN during Jan-Nov
Tamil Nadu continued to be a notorious state for road accidents in the country, with 18,188 accidents reported claiming 4,735 lives between January and November last year. This is higher by 231, as in the corresponding period in 2010, 4,504 lives were lost, according to a data obtained from State Traffic Planning Cell.
