An accused in a serial blasts case in Uttar Pradesh, died today while he was being brought to Lucknow from a Faizabad court in a police van.

Arrest warrants have been issued against Zaibunissa Kazi and Sharif Parkar who have been convicted for their role in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. The two, who were supposed to surrender before court today, failed to do so thus prompting the warrants.

The last time Sanjay Dutt was at Yerawada Jail, he had taken up carpentry in the jail and made a cane chair. He was also at the Pune jail for a brief spell in 2007.
