BJP will not support Anshuman Mishra as Rajya Sabha candidate

In a clumsy attempt at course-correction, the BJP has now said it will not support Anshuman Mishra, a businessman and an Independent candidate for the Rajya Sabha from Jharkhand. The reversal comes after senior party leaders made clear that support to Mr Mishra was not acceptable to them.
