A 50-year-old man died of a massive heart attack here after he was allegedly pushed by two men when he tried to dissuade them from teasing his niece, police said today. The two men have been arrested and a case of culpable homicide registered against them, police said.

Four fire officials have been suspended for safety negligence after a mock drill, which was reportedly carried out without safety nets, resulted in the death of a woman. The fire department has told NDTV that there are no standard operating procedure in place for fire safety drills in Bangalore.
