Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today comfortably won the by-election from Avanigadda Assembly seat in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.

About 45 per cent polling was reported in the bypoll for Avanigadda Assembly constituency in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh today.

The Election Commission on Friday announced that by-polls for Mandya and Bangalore Rural Lok Sabha constituencies in Karnataka and Avanigadda Assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh will be held on August 21.
