Sarabjit's family returns from Pakistan, accuses government of not doing enough

The family of Sarabjit Singh, the Indian prisoner who is comatose at a Lahore hospital, returned to India via the Wagah border today. Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur, his wife and two daughters were granted emergency visas to visit Pakistan on Sunday.

The express delivery - made even as Sopore and surrounding areas are under curfew - raises even more questions about why a letter informing Guru's family of his hanging reached them two days after he was executed and buried in Tihar Jail.

Hours before he was to be executed, Afzal Guru penned his last letter to his wife, Tihar Jail officials said on Monday. The letter, written in Urdu, was posted on Saturday but is yet to reach his wife in Kashmir.
