Two boats were seized and eight fishermen were arrested by the Sri Lankan navy.

Rameswaram: Eight Tamil Nadu fishermen were arrested today by the Sri Lankan Navy on charges of crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line,

Their two boats were also seized by the navy, Assistant Director of Fisheries Department, S Sekhar said.

The fishermen were taken to Kangesanthurai port, he said.
