DMK's Rajya Sabha member, Kanimozhi today flayed the AIADMK government, alleging that there was no industrial and economic development in the last five years.
Hitting out at chief minister Jayalalithaa, she claimed that the chief minister is not meeting people, officials and Union ministers and is going to places in helicopter.
Addressing an election meeting in Erode, she said total prohibition would be introduced if DMK was elected to power.
DMK chief M Karunanidhi had consulted several economic experts before releasing the manifesto for the May 16 Assembly polls, she said.
If the DMK is elected to power, Kalaignar (Karunanidhi) would implement the promises, she added.
She addressed meetings at Erode, Ezhumathur, Vellode, Perundurai and Gobichettipalayam, canvassing votes for DMK and its allies.
