Chief Minister Jayalalithaa Inaugurates New Government Buildings Across Tamil Nadu

New office buildings for tehsildar at Ambur, office buildings for revenue inspectors in regions including Namakkal and Karur districts were also inaugurated.

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today inaugurated a number of new buildings to house various offices under the Revenue Department built at a total cost of Rs. 71.55 crore through video conferencing from Chennai.

Among the new buildings were the Tirupur Collectorate Master Plan Complex built at a cost of Rs. 55.32 crore, residential quarters for sub-collectors, office buildings for tehsildar, revenue inspector and a government guest house.

New office buildings for tehsildar at Ambur, office buildings for revenue inspectors in regions including Namakkal and Karur districts were also inaugurated by the Chief Minister.

She also inaugurated 23 Village Administrative Officers' office-cum-residential quarters in districts including Kanchipuram, Ariyalur, Tiruvallur and Virudhunagar. Revenue Minister RB Udayakumar and top government officials participated in the inauguration.
