Yuki breaks top 350 barrier

New Delhi: Teen sensation Yuki Bhambri on Monday broke the top 350-rank barrier, taking a huge 57 place jump to get to career best 346 ranking in the latest ATP list.

With this jump, Yuki has become India's third highest ranked player in singles. Somdev Devvarman is highest ranked player at 131, a loss of two positions from the last week.

Prakash Amritraj is number two player for India at 223 with a gain of six slots.

"The target for this year was to get into top-500, I am happy I have come this far. Now I will try to get to top-300 before the year ends," Yuki, who won five ITF Future titles this year, said.

Meanwhile, there was no change in the ranking of Mahesh Bhupathi (6) and Leander Paes (8) in the doubles list. Sania Mirza also had her ranking unchanged. In the singles she is steady at 61 and in doubles she is occupying 38th position.
