Narain Karthikeyan back in F1 for 2011 season
Madrid: Indian driver Narain Karthikeyan says he is returning to Formula One to drive for Spanish outfit HRT.

Karthikeyan wrote on his Twitter page on Thursday: "Back in F1 in 2011. Signed a deal to race for HRT. I've always maintained that my time in F1 was not over & now making good on that promise."

HRT would not confirm the news but says it will make an announcement concerning its drivers on Friday.

Karthikeyan would be the second Indian driver to feature for HRT after Karun Chandhok raced for the team in 2010. Bruno Senna, Sakon Yamamoto and Christian Klien also drove for the new team.

The 33-year-old Karthikeyan was India's first F1 driver after spending a season with Jordan in 2005. He also tested for Williams in 2006-07.
