New Delhi: Team India's swashbuckling opener Virender Sehwag will be out of action for the next 10 days due to injury. Dinesh Karthik will replace him in the Asia Cup squad.
Sehwag pulled his right hamstring during the pulsating one-ball-to-spare win over Pakistan recently. He was in pain during his 30-ball stay at the wicket and was assisted by Suresh Raina as a runner.
"He has pulled his hamstring. The physio has been taking care of him, but we will take a call on his fitness tomorrow," team manager Ranjib Biswal had said on Sunday.
