Erode:
Suspecting her daughter's fidelity, a woman aided her brother-cum-son-in-law in murdering her at a village in the district today, police said.
The man, a watchman at a private firm, used to have frequent quarrels with his wife over this issue. She often used to leave for her mother's house, which both he and her mother objected to, they said.
This morning the couple got into a wordy duel, after which both he and the older woman gagged her and slit her throat.
Later, the man himself informed the police of the murder, who rushed to the spot and arrested the duo.
