Kadapa police on Wednesday arrested two employees of a private agency for misappropriating Rs 45.6 lakh belonging to banks.
Superintendent of Police, Sundar Kumar Das, said that Venkata Narasimha Murthy and Veeraiah worked with Costal Management Services, which deposits money in ATMs of Karur Vysya Bank, Vysaya Bank IDBI and Andhra Bank.
The two had misappropriated Rs 45.60 lakh two years ago.
A special team nabbed the duo today.
Cash and gold ornaments collectively worth Rs 24 lakh were recovered from them.
