Maha Shivaratri was celebrated with religious fervour across Andhra Pradesh today with devotees observing fasts and prayers to Lord Shiva.
Thousands of devotees thronged Shiva temples all over the state and performed 'Abhishekam' to Shivalingas as part of their prayers.
Famous Shiva temples in the state at Srisailam, Srikalahasti, Mahanandi, Draksharamam, Vemulavada, Bhimavaram, Palakollu, Samalkot, Amaravati witnessed a heavy rush of pilgrims.
