Perambalur, Tamil Nadu:
Four persons were killed and 10 persons were injured when a state-owned transport corporation bus and a tanker lorry collided near Perambalur in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday evening, police said.
The bus was coming from Chennai to Tiruchirappalli while the tanker in the opposite direction when the mishap occurred at Thanner pandal about eight km from Perambalur, they said.
Four persons, including driver of the lorry, died on the spot while the injured had been admitted to the Perambalur Government Hospital.
