was the most expensive movies of its time. It got a total of 12 nominations and bagged most of the top honours including Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor in a Leading Role.
Tragic love story
Titanic
starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet got a record of 14 nominations and won Best Picture and Best Director amongst it's 11 wins. Kate Winslet was also nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role but didn't win.
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
directed by Peter Jackson won in all 11 categories it was nominated for.
