French Open 2012, Day 10

In a day which saw many twists and turns on the clay court, lets take a look at all the action from Day 10 of the French Open.

Roger Federer found himself pitted against Juan Martin Del Potro and was put to the test as the Spaniard ran away with a two set lead. AFP PHOTO / PATRICK KOVARIK

But the former World one rallied back to take the third set 6-2 and whitewashed Del Potro 6-0 in the fourth before taking the fifth set to earn a place in the last four. AFP PHOTO / PATRICK KOVARIK

World No 1 Novak Djokovic came up against the highly spirited Jo-Wilfired Tsonga and despite creaming him in the first set was pegged back as Tsonga egged on by the home crowd took the next two sets to make the match an interesting contest. AFP PHOTO / PATRICK KOVARIK

Djokovic dug deep to win the fourth set in the tie-breaker and then swept away to a 6-1 victory in the fifth. After his initial assault Tsonga had no answer to Djoko as it was a day of the favourites playing their best tennis when it mattered the most. AFP PHOTO / PATRICK KOVARIK
