Shah Rukh Khan won his very first Filmfare, Best Male Debut, in 1992 for his first film Deewana. Since then he's scooped up the trophies regular as clockwork and at last count he had 11.
Aamir Khan was nominated for Best Actor 8 years in a row without winning and then broke his losing streak in year 9 with Raja Hindustani. He now has a total of 7 awards.
Ajay Devgn has been nominated for Best Actor 6 times but has never won. He does have 3 other awards though – Best Male Debut, Critic's Award and Best Villain.
Akshay Kumar has never won Best Actor either. He scored Best Villain for Ajnabee and Best Comedian for Garam Masala.
Anil Kapoor has a sum total of 5 awards including Best Actor as well as Best Supporting Actor.
Arjun Rampal was nominated for the first time ever, and won, for Best Supporting Actor in 2008 for Rock On.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was nominated for Best Actress twice in the same year in 2000 for Hum Dil Chuke Sanam (won) and Taal. She also won Best Actress for Devdas, bringing her count to two.
– The much awarded Amitabh Bachchan won his first Filmfare trophy for Anand and now counts 13 among his collection of trophies.
The sultry Bipasha Basu got her first and only Best Female Debut Award for Ajnabee in 2001.
Hrithik Roshan bagged double awards for both Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai and Koi... Mil Gaya which totalled his Filmfares to 6.
The biggest debutante of her time, Deepika is also a double Filmfare winner in the year 2007 for Om Shanti Om.
Chocolate boy Imran Khan bagged his first Fimfare trophy in 2008 for Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na proving to be the Best Male Debut.
The very talented Kajol has 5 Filmfare awards, including 1 for Best Villain. She became the first female actor to win Best Villain, for Gupt in 1998.
Kangana Ranaut won Best Female Debut for Gangster and Best Supporting Actress for Fashion.
Kareena is the leading Kapoor sister when it comes to numbers, with 5 trophies.
– Karisma trails her sister by 1 – she has 4 Filmfare awards.
– Madhuri Dixit is the most nominated actress with 13 nominations, of which she won 5.
Priyanka Chopra won Best Female Debut for Andaaz and has since won 2 more awards.
A debut like Ranbir Kapoor's hardly happens and that too with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for which he won a Filmfare along with one for Critics Award for Best Performances for Wake Up Sid, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani & Rocket Singh which brings him to 2 awards.
Rani Mukherjee not only has 8 awards to show for her powerhouse performances, she also made Filmfare history by becoming the only actress to win Best Actress (for Hum Tum) and Best Supporting Actress (for Yuva) in the same year.
Saif Ali Khan turns out to be the industry's darkest horse – his trophies add up to 6.
Salman Khan won Best Male Debut for Maine Pyar Kiya in 1989 and also Best Supporting Actor for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Like Ajay Devgn, he's been nominated 6 times for Best Actor but has never won.
Sanjay Dutt won Best Actor for Vaastav and Best Comedian for Munnabhai M.B.B.S.
Ishq Vishk star Shahid Kapoor won Best Male Debut in 2003 but judging by current form we're pretty sure he'll be adding a few trophies soon.
Vidya Balan has a total of 3 Filmfares – 2 for Parineeta and 1 for Paa.
Actress Sridevi has won Filmfare Best Actress Award twice for Hindi films Chaalbaaz and Lamhe.
